Our Community

Ready women are active, authentic and involved.

We believe in encouraging community among women who enjoy supporting and inspiring one another. As part of this mission we host regular open house events featuring engaging guests from many fields, trunk shows featuring local artist and designers, and sponsorship events for local non-profits and projects.

Giving back to our community through special events and activities that bring attention to projects and organizations that support and enrich the lives of women, children and families in our community, is an ongoing and important part of our planning and action.

Our Ready Trading “village” is diverse and constantly growing. We often learn about a critical local need or challenge through one of our customers, artists, or designers. We know that the value of our small business is intimately tied to the health of the community that surrounds us.

Often our support involves generating or dedicating events to bring attention to a need or to directly raise funds to support a need. We have held events supporting Emory’s Michael C. Carlos Museum’s Family Education Programming, The Keri Hilson Foundation’s donation of musical instruments and media equipment to Dekalb County Public Schools, The Atlanta Women’s Homeless Shelter, The Amani Womens Center, The Refugee Sewing Society, Planned Parenthood and the Toco Hills Community Alliance.

We regularly donate products and gift certificates to local foundations and charitable organizations for their silent and online fundraising auctions.

Visit us in person when you are in Atlanta.  We'd love to get to know you!
