Back by popular demand, the Summer Kurta in soft cotton with rich embroidery was one of the first pieces of clothing we carried in our stores more than 10 years ago. This tunic length top with 3/4 length sleeves and side slits at the hip, has a relaxed easy fit and naturally beautiful flow for hot summer days. The Kurti (Kurta) has been a style staple of the Indian subcontinent for centuries. Simple cuts with elaborate, decorative embellishments make them versatile and naturally beautiful. The white cotton version is especially valued for its ability to reflect sunlight (heat) and is appreciated for recognizable regional techniques. Embroidery styles are often named after the region from where the embroidery style or pattern originated.
