Togo Stone - African "Money Stone" Pendant
This one-of-a kind pendant comes with a currency history. The white quartz disc with a drilled hole in the center was used for exchange by several cultures (Accans, Baoula, and Ashanti) from the 1600's to mid 1900's. Also called "Thunder Stones" they are believed to have fallen from the heavens and possess healing powers. Ghana, Togo, Sierra Leone. Shown here with the Safira Cardigan.
